OVERVIEW
Overview
Lidar Liner does not process any personal data on servers. All measurement and sensor data stays exclusively on your device — nothing is transmitted to us or to any third party.
SENSORS
Camera, LiDAR, and Hand Tracking
To measure walls and objects, the app needs access to room sensing (LiDAR) and hand tracking on your device (ARKit). This data is processed exclusively, locally, and in real time on the device to detect and confirm measurement points. Raw sensor/camera data is never stored or transmitted. You can review and revoke these permissions at any time in your device’s system settings under “Privacy & Securityâ€.
LOCAL STORAGE
Locally Saved Measurements
When you finish a measurement with “Doneâ€, the calculated corner points are saved as a file locally on your device (no cloud sync, no synchronization) so you can access it again later. You can permanently delete individual or all saved measurements at any time directly in the app (control panel → “Delete Allâ€).
NO TRACKING
No Analytics, No Ads, No Accounts
The app does not use any analytics or tracking services, does not display advertising, and does not require registration or sign-in.
APP STORE
Apple App Store
When you obtain the app through the App Store, Apple, as an independent data controller, processes certain data (e.g., purchase processing, device information, and, if you have consented, crash reports). For more information, see Apple’s own privacy policy.
YOUR RIGHTS
Your Rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and objection (Art. 21). Since all data remains exclusively on your device, you can exercise most of these rights directly within the app itself (view, delete).
